  • Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, works by creating controlled, microscopic injuries on the skin's surface using a handheld device with fine needles. These micro-injuries trigger the skin's natural healing process, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. Collagen provides strength and structure to the skin, while elastin allows it to stretch and bounce back. As the skin repairs itself, new collagen and elastin fibers are formed, resulting in smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin.

  • Professional microneedling is a versatile procedure that can be used to treat a variety of skin concerns and imperfections. It is used to treat acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, large pore size, skin laxity, stretch marks, dull and uneven skin texture, and the signs of aging. 

  • Microneedling may cause only slight discomfort. The sensation is typically described as a very mild tingling or pricking of the skin. Prior to treatment, topical numbing is applied to minimize any potential discomfort.

  • No, you can continue your normal routine after treatment. Following your microneedling session, your skin may appear red or slightly inflamed. This usually subsides within a day or two. During your microneedling recovery time, we recommend avoiding harsh skin products, makeup, sun exposure, and makeup.
